2005 Saya-Kadaw-Pwe DVD is available now. Please thank to Director
Min Wat Latt (valentine digital media house) for his second master piece. 2005 DVD is also our friend Thant Zin's last DVD.
Thant Zin will be missed. So would his wonderful singing. Please check these wonderful screen shots from DVD.

Saya-Kadaw-Pwe complete photos set
After Saya-Kadaw-Pwe, IM (1) of 1986 donated 1,000,000 Kyats to support group of elderly doctors association. IM (1) of 1986 also donated 50,000 kyats to Chit Su Win Maung (very poor medical student). Thanks to all the classmates contributed generously to make them happen.

Saya-Kadaw-Pwe a success
Our Saya Kadaw Pwe was completed successfully on Feb 12, 2005. 75 teachers out of total invited 134 attended to the Ceremony. 101 classmates attended the morning Ceremony and dinner section. In the dinner section, our classmates and families filled 15 tables. 7 classmates could only make to dinner. Sabai Phyu from Singapore, Aung Kyaw from Taiwan , Sama Jalin and her husband from US attended. Kyi Oo & Khin Mar Shein from Taungoo, Kyi Lwin Oo from Pakkoku, Khin May Thwin from Kyeik Hto, Kyu Kyu Win from Lashio, Thant Zin from Thanattbin, Thet Shay from Wakema and many other attended also. We thank everybody for participation and support.
We received total contribution 101 lakhs in kyats plus $4,770 in US dollars from 182 classmates all over the world. We thank all classmates for generosity. We donated 50,000 kyats to each teacher. Total expenditure is around 99 lakhs and 10 Lakhs will be donated to elderly doctor association. The rest will be deposited in the bank and the interest will be used for welfare of classmates by a trustee group.
Distribution of new classmates' address book to the classmates all over the world is underway. We will try to distribute the best we can reach in coming weeks. Please wait for new address book to arrive in your postal mail box or in front of your door.

Saya-Kadaw-Pwe updates
Saya-Kadaw-Pwe commitee selected Sid Naing as master of ceremony, Ko Hla Aung as anchorman and Min Thwe as talking acknowledgement. We received total contributions of 94 Lakhs in Kyats and US$ 4,400 from classmates all over the world. We thank all classmates for generosity. We will donate our teachers with Ks-50,000/- each, a embroidered towel and traditional medicines donated by Theim Kyaw. After the ceremony, we are planning to donate some amount to Daw Myint Myint Khin's old doctors association and deposit the rest in the bank to use for classmates' welfare.
We will take video recording for both morning and evening section.

Saya-Kadaw-Pwe Invitation
Here are Saya-Kadaw-Pwe Invitation for our teachers and all our classmates. Everybody is invited.

We had delivered the Saya-Kadaw-Pwe invitation into the hand of our teachers. Most of them promise to come. They also
want to see the oldies.
The ceremony will begin at 9:00 AM. We estimate about 130 teachers will attend. We will pray our teachers at
10:00 AM with Ks-50,000/-, one address book, & one towel embroidered as "IM (1) of 1986 Saya Kataw Pwe 12.02.05" each.
Our classmates can also donate any separate present to teachers as their own wishes. We plan to show "Nge Kwyan Swe" photo gallery
with our old school time group photos, gathering photos & our classmate couple photos. Then lunch will be served with
"Seik Tine Kya" butter rice and chicken curry. The ceremony will finish around noon.
Dinner will be around 6:30 PM at Lion City restaurant hosted by Khin Maung Htwe and Tin Tin Wai. Many fun activities will
invlove in dinner section. We hope everybody can come and enjoy.
We plan to send our new address book to all the classmates by post after Saya-Kadaw-Pwe.

Saya-Kadaw-Pwe contributions
We are receiving a lot of contributions from classmates all over the world for Saya-Kadaw-Pwe. Money are flowing in
steadily from Yangon, U.S west coast & LA area, U.S East coast, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, and others. Collecting from
LA area alone reach around US$ 3,000 and still counting. We thank all classmates for generosity and encourage more
classmates to contribute. Please inform more classmates you can reach to participate and to contribute for our old
teachers.

Saya-Kadaw-Pwe (2005)
Hello Friends,
Most of you are aware of the Saya-Kataw-Pwe of our
classmates which will be held at Yangon on Feb 12.
2005. Many of you have already sent contributions.
This letter is to inform the friends who are abroad
and not aware of the developments.
I tried to stay at a distance after encountering some
disagreements from earlier attempts at fund raising. I
understand there are many different opinions about
this and all are wonderful ideas, except I was not
able to bring together to reach some consensus.
At this point, all I wish is to go back there and
kataw them myself but I will not be able to make it. I
am sure many of you will feel the same way. Those few
who can go back, I want to let you know how much I
envy you. Even if you can not go back, please try to
make a contribution. Some of our teachers are still in
service. Some have retired. Some are quite well off.
Some not so. These Ahluu gifts may not be much for
many of us, but could be quite a sum over there.
I hope all of us (who happen to open and read this
letter) can pitch in for this occasion.There is no
fixed amount for this. We all know how much we
appreciate their Pyin-Nyar they gave it to us. This is
our chance to give back a token of appreciation to
them. If you have not made contributions please try to
do so (in one week). If you know someone who do not
have an email or do not really read them, please share
this with him or her.
[For friends who want to have receipts, I would like
to say that it is in the plans. For friends who wants
to be listed as contributers, I can assure that Kyi
Maung will be happy to do so. For those who do not
want to be listed, he will respect your wish too. Just
don't do anything because you might not want your name
in some list. I wish some one can guarantee these
things but they are all at different places and to
keep some communications with them is just not easy.
So, at least I want to say that I have no control over
these issues. Please don't shoot the messenger.]
For friends in US, San San Htay has been the contact
person for donations in the east coast. San San is the
one in Los Angeles area. I do not know of anyone else
organizing this. If you wish to contribute towards

Dear All Friends,
Yangon Working group is preparing coming SayaKadawPwe
in 12th Feb 2005 in Yangon. We hope all the classmate
would contribute donations for our teachers. It is
only once within 20 years. Secondly, we are preparing
to publish second edition of address and rememberance
book in which all the data including family name and
family photo of respective members. You all are
sending the photos before 3rd week of January. We hope
all are welcome to this work.Address is based on the

Yangon Working Body met on November 6, 2004 at Royal Garden Restaurant, Yangon and discussed on 2005 Saya-Kadaw-Pwe.
Attendances are Min Thwe, Khine Than , Khin Maung Htwe, Tin Tin Wai, Honey Khin Thin Thin, Tin Tin Aye, Aye Aye Htwe,
Aye Aye Tint, Aye Aye Myint, San San Wai, Tint Tint Kyi and Tin Tin Maw. Tin May Than from L.A also attended the meeting
and offered the contribution from classmates in L.A area.
It will be great to meet again with old teachers and friends next time. The date of Saya-Kadaw-Pwe would be 12th Feb Union Day.
It would be in the BMA Hall at 9:00 AM. Reunion dinner may depend on the fund received. Khin Maung Htwe arranges to announce in Newspaper and Journal.
